Linda Mitteness is organizing a craft fair for Saturday, November 26 (the Saturday after Thanksgiving Day) in Diehl Hall here at St. John’s. There will also be a bake sale as part of this event which will be a fundraiser for the church. Please attend and kick off your holiday shopping with fine items created by skilled local artisans. Vortex Green Jewelry, beautiful jewelry made from green and recycled semi-precious and other stones
Images in a Lens, nature photography (including stunning 2012 calendars and note cards)
Allure in Style, scarves in luxurious silk and sustainable, ethical faux fur
Slow Poke Felt, pincushions, wallets, scarves, etc.
Birdhouses by Kim, using recycled and repurposed lumber and other items
Mimosa Studio, delicate jewelry incorporating nature themes
Bahia Beads, a vintage crochet bead technique
Bee Naturally, pure beeswax candles
Alissa’s repurposed leather wallets and cases (made from fine tennis racket covers and similar things)
These participants have all been reviewed and are doing beautiful work that is good for the environment and good for people.
